Pneumatic Fender Classification
According to international pneumatic fenders, pneumatic fender systems are divided into two categories. From the appearance, there are two types of pneumatic fenders:
1.Initial Pressure 50 Kpa, P50 pneumatic fender
2.Initial Pressure 80 Kpa, P80 pneumatic fender
3.Type I, CTN Type, with chains and tire nets pneumatic fender
4.Type II, Sling Type, without chains and tire nets pneumatic fender
Pneumatic Fender Structure
Pneumatic fender consists of outer rubber layer, synthetic-tire-cord layer and inner rubber layer. The outer rubber layer is made of special compounds that are strong with high tensile strength and tear strength to better protect the fender from the damage of severe weather conditions and hard usage. The synthetic-tire-cord layer is a composite tire cord with cross shadow lines, which is designed to distribute stress evenly. While the inner rubber layer is specially designed to seal the internal air and prevent any leakage.
